94.  I have just a couple job related criteria questions that would like to be answered please..

1. What is the ability to plan and implement canter-based child development programs?
2. What are some skills in program administration?
3. Skills in effective oral and written communications?
4. Ability to train and supervise staff?
5. Ability to implement policies and develop operational procedures in accordance with regulatory guidance?

Here are some answers, I hope!!!!

  1. What is the ability to plan and implement canter-based child development programs?
  2. I assume you mean "center-based" --If so, 'centers' are physical areas within an early childhood program, pre-Kinder or Kindergarten, or any other class at any grade, K-12, where a specific goal or objective is addressed through an activity or a series of activities. For example, there could be a "math" center, where students are provided opportunities to 'count." Or an "art" center where young children could do "finger painting," or could look at books with pictures of great art works, etc. Center-based child development programs provide lots of centers to develop specific skills and knowledge, instead of having direct or large group instruction, for example.

  3. What are some skills in program administration?
  4. There are many, among them, skills in hiring, training, even firing staff, implementing a program given its goals and objectives, dealing with the clients and their parents --if this is an early childhood program, controlling and managing a budget, planning, ordering supplies, keeping informed, etc.

  5. Skills in effective oral and written communications?
  6. There are many, from communicating general information about the program orally and/or in writing (brochures, newsletters, etc., for example) to responding to questions from parents, the public, writing articles about the accomplishments of the program, etc.

  7. Ability to train and supervise staff?
  8. You must know what the program should look like and then you should plan on training the others through whom what the program should look like becomes a reality.

  9. Ability to implement policies and develop operational procedures in accordance with regulatory guidance?

There are ALL types of rules one must follow --fire rules, space rules, rules for safety, food services, accident prevention, etc. Whichever rules apply, you need to know, including rules and regulations in the Education Code, Building Code, accounting and taxation rules, etc. We ALL need the help of many others who are experts at other things.
